Our Mission
To train artists and designers who can contribute to various fields of fine arts and design with original creations; to educate the community in terms of art and design through various publications, projects and activities, to contribute to the inclusion of fine arts and design in life and thus to the increase of creative values in society, to raise individuals who are sensitive to cultural and natural heritage, to adopt interdisciplinary research, to provide multi-lingual education and to promote economic and socio-cultural welfare.
In addition, our faculty aims to train independent individuals who are interested in research at national and international levels, can lead the society in fine arts and design in the changing world conditions, respect human values, produce original artistic works and information, integrate them with the daily life of the society by sharing them, and contribute to the lifelong education and development process, to provide qualified and authentic, distance and formal learning opportunities to the individual of all ages, and to enable the cultural differences by means of art and the value of artistic intelligence through thinking and discovery to be understood.
Our Vision
The vision of the Faculty of Fine Arts is to be an institution that provides world-class education in line with its goal of becoming a respected and preferred world university at national and international levels with its creative activities, community service, education and research in the field of fine arts and design. In this context, we aim to be a faculty that:
• is recognized nationally and internationally in the fields of science, fine arts, and design with its scientific reputation and creative activities,
• trains leading individuals in their field with their original thoughts and studies and organizes various publications, TV programs, travelling exhibitions, and workshops in order to reinforce the place of fine arts and design in social life,
• can develop its institutionalization focused on participation, transparency, and measurability,
• implements the programs that the training of trainers is maintained, has information technologies, the potentials of students are demonstrated and their creativity is supported, is student-centered and provides high-quality education with the awareness and responsibility of national interests and values,
• strengthens equality and inclusion,
• can play an active role in the rapid development and change process of the society by spreading service and goals of lifelong education to the public through communication tools,
• is in mutual interaction with its stakeholders and has an infrastructure that is open to change in line with the requests based on feedback,
• can create its own resources by cooperating effectively and productively in all fields and provide research-development and consultancy services applied mostly by national institutions,
• adopts a management approach that does not compromise universal academic and ethical values and provides environments that will facilitate the R&D and creative studies of the academic staff and enable their contributions to the art to increase through interdisciplinary studies,
• can take part in international student and academic staff exchange,
