DUTIES, POWERS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE QUALITY ASSURANCE SYSTEM COMMISSION
• In line with the strategic plan and objectives of the institution, to establish the internal and external quality assurance system of the institution regarding the evaluation and quality improvement of education &training, research activities and administrative services, to determine the institutional indicators and to conduct the studies that will be carried out in this context in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by the Higher Education Quality Council and to submit these studies to the Faculty Administrative Board,
• to carry out internal evaluation studies and prepare the annual institutional evaluation report including the results of institutional evaluation and quality development studies and submit it to the Faculty Administrative Board, and to share the approved annual institutional evaluation report with internal and external stakeholders and the public in a way to be accessed on the institution's homepage,
• to make necessary preparations for the external evaluation process and to provide all kinds of support to the Higher Education Quality Council and external evaluating institutions,
• to use the feedback of students, administrative staff, academic staff and employees to improve the processes,
• Within the framework of Atatürk's principles and revolutions, to provide contemporary education of international quality that is far from rote learning, where only reason and science are valid, and which teaches to reach the truth by questioning, researching and discussing,
• to create a creative and participatory university environment where knowledge is accessed, knowledge is used, knowledge is produced in a free environment open to all kinds of thoughts, where reason dominates,
• to raise young people who adopt to learn continuously, ask, question, research, produce solutions rather than problems, have developed social skills, are self-confident, can make right decisions, are rational, creative, productive, respectful of human rights, open to universal values, and sensitive to society and social problems,
• to contribute to social development by producing knowledge and technology through university-industry cooperation,
• to integrate with society by embracing national and universal cultural values;
• to ensure continuous improvement and development in education, training, research and practice,
• to reach a happy society consisting of happy individuals with an approach based on "Human First",
• to build its values on the high standards of professionalism and performance expected of its staff,
• to provide active partnership with the Students’ Union to ensure that educational, social, cultural, sporting, welfare and personal development needs of students are met,
• to provide the innovative use of technology to promote effective student learning and efficient work presentation,
• to develop our activity portfolio continuously to meet changing needs,
• to develop the property to achieve a first-class environment,
• to interact effectively with the staff, stakeholders, and larger communities and to create a communication strategy that enables the development of the university,
• to promote sustainability in our policies and activities.
